Ensure the safety and legality of your caravan or trailer with our high-quality, UK-made breakaway cables. This vital component is a legal requirement and provides peace of mind by automatically applying the trailer’s brakes if it should ever become detached from the towing vehicle during transit.
Our breakaway cables are constructed from a strong 3mm 7×7 galvanised steel wire rope, which is then coated with a durable PVC layer, increasing the overall diameter to 5mm. This coating not only protects the wire from the elements but also comes in a classic red high-visibility colour. Each cable is supplied ready to fit, complete with a choice of carbine hook on one end and an overlap ring on the other.
