Product Overview

Our Galvanised B.S. 3032 Large Bow Shackles are a load-rated lifting component manufactured from high-tensile carbon steel to the B.S. 3032 specification. Finished with a Hot Dip Galvanisation (HDG), they offer excellent durability and corrosion resistance. The “large bow” shape provides a wider opening than standard bow shackles, offering more room for multi-leg slings. This shackle is equipped with a screw pin (collar pin) which is ideal for applications where the shackle needs to be frequently removed and re-attached.

Important Safety Notice: These shackles are load-rated for lifting. The Safe Working Load (S.W.L.) is clearly marked and must not be exceeded. Always inspect shackles for wear or damage before each use. For overhead lifting, ensure the pin is fully tightened and secure before applying the load. Not suitable for permanent installations where the load may cause the pin to rotate.
